在台北的大街小巷裡尋尋覓覓一家適合這次Trunk Show的場地，終於在中正區找到這間Café de Gear，位於捷運中正紀念堂站出來後步行五分鐘的距離。

佇立在寧波東街的一角，台北的市中心很難想像會有這樣的空間，由獨棟的老宅(聽說是前身公宅)改建而成的咖啡廳，清新明亮的外觀，不加裝飾，只用黃燈打亮，藤蔓自然生長，完美還原本身的風貌。

門口的地址用黑底金邊訂製，更顯它本身的精緻，細節都存在著他的意義，踏入前院，可以透過整片透明窗看見咖啡廳內的擺設，而前院的設計也令人賞心悅目。

走進Café de Gear，挑高的建築及延伸的走廊，多盞黃燈照亮整個空間，天花板用白色的支架掛了幾盆植物，增添了咖啡廳的氛圍，內部裝飾恰到好處，不會過猶不及，視覺也更加遼闊。

整體空間內主要只有黑、灰、白、棕、綠五色，都是讓人感到愜意的色調，營造舒適的感覺，不論是早晨藉由自然光照入抑或夜晚裝設的黃燈都將整個空間表達的恰到好處。

由老宅改建，卻不失他原本的風貌，不刻意消泯時間留下的痕跡，斑駁的痕跡是它本身獨特的味道，與我們的手作衣著產生相似的連結，手作痕跡也不完全完美，上頭會有師傅的粉筆記號，皮料或是布料批次上的顏色變化不一。也因為如此，每一件都是獨一無二，以原本的美呈現最真實也最適合的模樣，讓我們更確信Café de Gear能夠自然呈現我們手作衣著的樣貌，這樣古老交織現代的空間，也讓我們很期待這次合作下的產物。

這次的展示空間在二樓，空間的樣貌就等到大家參與我們pop-up shop活動的時候再來一探究竟囉！

Never been the type to embrace the hipster scene, I was pleasantly surprised with the 2-night stay I had at Swiio Hotel earlier this year. Nestled in the quiter end of Da-an district, the brand spanking new whitewashed building towers above other drab appartments in the area. For one thing, I love that it’s such a monstrously out-of-place addition to the neighbourhood, and how people couldn’t believe their eyes when they come upon it. Intrigued by the glowing reviews on the internet,I decided to give this months-old hotel a try after my Airbnb reservation fell through.

All my prejudice dissolved the moment I stepped into the hotel. The small reception aptly sets the tone for the hotel.Intimate, but not intrusive.The front-desk service is swift and courteous.The room, while not outrageously spacious, is extremely well-designed in its minimalism and practicality.The neutral-toned décor (lots of wood), the leather swivel chair, the wifi speaker, all amenities seem to be specifically designed for someone who is in search of  peace and quite in the midst of the urban hub-bub,someone like me. 

Another really smart feature in the room is the remote-controlled motorized blinds that provide much-needed privacy while still allowing enough natural light to seep through. I was able to get some work done while enjoying the free snacks and drinks from the snackbar.(Yes, you heard me right.) Overall, Swiio Hotel (Da-an) proves to be very good value for its money and  an excellent base to explore Taipei.

年節期間，我趁著快閃店剛落幕跟展示空間開幕的幾天空檔,暫時放下繁忙的工作，選擇下榻於台北大安區新開幕的Swiio二十輪旅店。

Swiio位於寧靜的大安巷子中，老巷與繁華城市相鄰，卻擁有緩慢且能夠自在呼吸的步調，飯店外觀為純白色水泥，以白色與黑色為主調，金銀雙色為副調，簡單俐落的線條建構出極簡風格的整體空間。這裏優勢除了具有遠離喧囂卻又不會過於偏遠的地點之外（徒步到101約20分鐘），最重要的是擁有很適合一個人想要小休憩的好環境，房間雖不算寬闊但良好的設計更凸顯出他的極簡及實際性。

房間內採中性＋暖色基調的設計，聰明地運用許多木頭的裝潢，裏頭包含皮革椅、wifi音響、大浴缸,還有最令人驚豔的是－自動式落地窗屏幕,房客可遙控調整控制自然光亮度, 給予顧客居住時的不同需求的選擇。白天可拉半屏幕在落地窗旁的貴妃沙發上看書。整體設計看似簡單,但其實妙藏許多智慧。這讓每天思考顏色的我在這得到了充分的休息跟創作的養分!是十分值得推薦給大家的旅店。
