Founded in 2014, MétaFormose is a Taiwan-based womenswear studio rooted in slow fashion and made-to-measure craftsmanship. From the beginning, our vision has been clear: to create clothing that’s artisanal — garments made with intention, care, and integrity.

Each piece is made to order, allowing us to reduce waste and offer a more personal, meaningful fit. Alongside our original designs, we began by curating vintage pieces — a reflection of our respect for garments with history and a lighter footprint on the environment. Over the years, we’ve built a quiet but loyal community drawn to our commitment to quality, longevity, and thoughtful design.

As we enter our second decade, MétaFormose is embracing a seasonless model. We now offer a permanent Signature Collection —a curated edit of our most-loved, enduring designs — pieces that have stood the test of time and continue to resonate, alongside the Limited Series, a rotating edit of limited-run pieces, some of which are made with deadstock fabrics that bring history, texture, and individuality to each garment.

We’re also updating our approach to the Vintage Collection. More and more, we’re selecting vintage pieces to rework, darn, or restyle — to suit a modern aesthetic and giving these treasures a second life.
